What You'll See

The Dashboard is your operational home screen. Navigate to it from the top menu or at yoursubdomain.goodstay.com/dashboard.

Today at a Glance — Counts of check-ins today, check-outs today, current stays, and upcoming reservations
Quick Stats — Pets currently staying (split by boarding/daycare), occupancy percentage, unread messages, unhandled no-shows
Current Guests — Combined stat card showing total guests with a breakdown (e.g., "4 boarding / 6 daycare / 2 grooming")
Daycare Snapshot — If your facility offers daycare: today's capacity bar (booked vs. total), status counters (Checked In / Expected / Pending), per-play-area utilization bars, and total facility guests today
Grooming Snapshot — If your facility offers grooming: today's total grooming appointments, status counters (Scheduled / In Progress / Complete), and next appointment time with pet name. Uses a sky-blue accent to distinguish from boarding (teal) and daycare (amber)
Today's Schedule — A list of all check-ins and check-outs scheduled for the current day, grouped by status
Care Tasks — Today's completed vs. total care items (feedings, medications, and recurring care tasks) with a progress bar and a link to the Daily Tasks board
Overdue Checkouts — An alert listing stays still checked in past their check-out date, with a days-overdue badge and a link to the Overdue filter on the Reservations list. Only appears when something is overdue.
Vaccination Alerts — Any pets with expired or expiring vaccines (configurable)
Recent Activity — A log of recent actions across your facility

Dashboard stats are cached for about a minute, so a just-completed task or checkout can take up to 60 seconds to disappear from the counts.

Availability — Date-range availability grid
Daycare Board — Live daycare roster for today
Grooming Schedule — Today's grooming appointments by station (learn more)
Grooming Calendar — Weekly appointment calendar across grooming stations (learn more)
Boarding Roster — Daily printable roster of all current boarders, arrivals, and departures (learn more)
Schedule — Arrivals & Departures organized by appointment time (learn more)
Pets / Owners — Client database
Invoices — Billing and payments
Reports — Revenue, occupancy, and more
Staff — Team management
Your name / avatar — Profile, Facility Settings, Sign Out

Quick Actions

From the Dashboard you can take common actions quickly:

Click + New Reservation to jump right into creating a boarding, daycare, or grooming reservation
Click on any check-in or check-out entry to open that reservation's detail page
Click View All on any section to navigate to the full list (e.g., all reservations, all alerts)

The Dashboard updates automatically — you don't need to refresh to see new data when colleagues check pets in or out.
